i love your show because you explain everything , your kitchen is so inviting and warm please dont upgrade, and i trully enjoy how you cook with different cultures, i love to write stuff doen and then try your recipees, sometimes they come out good and sometimes i mess up. i grew up in foster homes and no one ever let me learn to cook only to clean up after them, but ive learned a lot from you thank you very very much.

👍 after sweating the eggplant i fried it in a large skillet to bring out a little more flavor. i also used a mix spice for meat (baharat) from my local middle eastern market along with a 50/50 mix of halal beef and lamb and a light sprinkle of red pepper flakes. everyone loved it, but next time i will use more baharat seasoning or make my own. this is a great dish and worth the effort!

Outstanding! I got so much out of this video, from two new dinner ideas to how to cook a good batch of brown rice. And I got a few ideas for food hacks! Having Grace Young in the kitchen was a real treat, and finishing with a bottle of Riesling to complement the meal was an nice and elegant touch! My noggin is just swimmin' with ideas now. Great video, and great presentation. Thank you!

I don't think our domestic &/or organic mushrooms get that dirty. Also, I think shiitakes, & oyster mushrooms, are grown on logs, so how "dirty" can they be? 🍄.

I love this episode. The recipe really seems universally appealing. I love the way you & Floyd explain everything. Friendly & open video! BTW, where can we get unsweetened coconut? Is it usually in regular grocery stores, to your knowledge? My friend made a Thai recipe with chicken breasts, potatoes, & rice, using coconut water. However, it needed a lot more coconut flavor, & he thought grated coconut only came in the sweetened variety. Thank you!!

Thank you so much, Sara, for providing us w. these wonderful YT videos. I like your calm, friendly, relaxed delivery of your presentations. I had a rough night & needed something to help me relax & focus. I love to eat & cook, even tho I am living alone & am now a widow. I like the way you encourage us to use what we have on hand, & to cook w. what we & our families love. ( When my 2 children, my husband, & my mom lived w. us, everyone wanted something different! I managed it, tho-I want everyone happy w. what I serve.) I like the way you let us know to make the recipes our own. Thank you for your flexibility about telling us to "tweak" the recipes! You are so kind, Sara, & you are so interesting, & you are a pleasure to watch. ❤💚🍋🍅🍞🥚🍳

Heh, what’s crazy is that Sunsweet never sponsored this video. I’m an ex employee of Sunsweet and was responsible for investigating/sending a cease and desist. Unfortunately due to budget cuts we stopped legal claims for smaller videos like this and went for bigger ones. The blatant lie here still catches me off guard.
